The older JV Eagles made a powerful statement on Saturday at the Fort Wayne Carroll JV invitational.

Delta entered two teams and competed against the Homestead JV team and the Carroll JV team in dual matches.

Delta Gold was made up of one senior, six juniors and four sophomores.  The won the tournament with a 3-0 record, beating Homestead 4-3, topping Carroll 5-2 and shutting out Delta Blue 7-0.

Delta Blue was made up of one sophomore and 10 freshmen.  This team lost 3-4 to Carroll, fell 1-6 to Homestead, and lost 0-7 to Delta Gold.

The JV continues to have an outstanding season.  The top Delta JV is 14-1-1 this fall.  Their only loss was a 6-8 decision at Culver Academies.

The Delta middle school boys’ team recently won the HHC title, also.
