Delta took advantage of a short-handed Kokomo team and cruised to a 5-0 victory over the Wildkats in the opening round of the Kokomo Invitational.
Kokomo was missing two singles players and one doubles player due to scheduling conflicts. In addition, No. 1 singles player Jon Callane was sick and played doubles instead.
The No. 1 doubles match was the highlight of the match at DHS seniors Cade Brown and Mason Knight beat Callane and Tyler Lauderbaugh 6-2, 4-6, 10-8.

Delta won the Junior Varsity title in the annual Kokomo Invitational. The Eagles gained 25 points to edge runner-up West Lafayette (23) as well as Lebanon (18), Western (11) and Kokomo (6).
Delta won 18 matches and lost 7 on the day. Head-to-head, Delta went 5-4 against West Lafayette, 6-2 vs. Western, 4-1 vs. Lebanon, and 3-0 vs. Kokomo.
