Senior Eleah Snider signed her letter of intent on Wednesday, April 10 to attend Indiana Wesleyan University and play on the women’s tennis team.
She signed during a morning ceremony with her parents, Delta head coach Tim Cleland, and Indiana Wesleyan head coach Eddy Shigley.
Indiana Wesleyan currently is ranked 9th nationally in the NAIA women’s tennis rankings.
Ellie has been selected All-State Singles in each of the past two seasons at Delta and is again playing No. 1 singles for the Eagles. As a sophomore, she advanced individually to the State Finals and as a junior she played at the State Finals with the rest of the team.
Ellie plays to study microbiology at IWU with her eyes on a future career as an optometrist.
