The second annual Delta Tennis Senior Scholarship application is now available. Deadline to apply is February 21, 2020.
This scholarship is awarded by the DelCom Foundation each spring. The monetary amount and number of recipients varies. Last year, several $500 scholarships were awarded to the inaugural recipients.
To apply, students must be seniors who play on the DHS Tennis teams. Academics, leadership and service are key components. Playing ability is not a determining factor.
A committee from DelCom Foundation makes the selection of the recipients. Coach Cleland started the scholarship but by his choice is not on the selection committee.
The application is available below. It also can be accessed on the Delta High School website under the guidance section or by visiting the counselors at DHS.
